Case study: plate-based entry control at 193a Raimbek Ave, Almaty
The site
A mixed-use site in Almaty at 193a Raimbek Ave: offices, warehouses and a car centre. Staff and clients drive onto the site.
The task
Let only our own people in: staff and clients drive through on their own, with no guard at the barrier, and unknown cars are kept out. Every passage is logged with a photo and time.
The solution
- Two Hikvision cameras — at the entry and the exit.
- Access control mode: allow list, free tariff.
- Lists are managed in the web panel and via a Telegram bot.
- Live since 15 September 2026.
Results for the first two weeks (as of 30.09.2026)
- 279 parking sessions.
- 4,516 events in the log — each with a camera snapshot.
- 42 cars on the allow list.
- Recognition confidence in the camera frame — 98–99%.
What’s next
Only access control runs on the site for now; no fees are charged. If the site decides to make parking paid, billing will be added as a module — no camera or system replacement.
